Constellations 1
A constellation is an undertaking over a longer period, with many people involved. Schoolchildren draw lines, a pilot writes them into the sky, students translate the flight data, spectators draw surfaces. From what they contribute, works, series, exhibitions and catalogues emerge over months or years.
Constellation means: the parts act together, and none of them governs the others. People, devices, weather and paper count equally. The works themselves are made in the end by one hand, in the studio.
A constellation has a chronicle. These pages hold it: the stations in their sequence, the works that came out of them, the exhibitions in which they were shown, the catalogues.
